Founder and Managing Shareholder Sarah T. Schaffer has been selected to the Super Lawyers list in the area of Family Law. Schaffer is a Certified Legal Specialist in Family Law by the California Board of Legal Specialization and has a Master of Laws Degree (LL.M.) in Taxation. She is also a certified Collaborative Divorce practitioner and mediator. Her practice includes representing clients in challenging, high-conflict family law matters, including difficult child custody disputes and complex community property division of businesses and other high net-worth assets. Her background includes serving in the U.S. Marine Corps as a logistics officer and judge advocate. 

Principal Attorney Leslie Ryland has been selected to the Super Lawyers list in the area of Family Law. Ryland is a Certified Legal Specialist in Family Law by the California Board of Legal Specialization. As well, Ryland is a certified Collaborative Divorce practitioner and is a past president of Collaborative Practice San Diego. Ryland previously served on the Board of Directors of the San Diego Family Law Bar Association as well as the North County Bar Association. She has represented clients in a wide array of family law matters and has a special interest in custody issues. Ryland has litigated complex financial matters as well as highly contested custody cases. She also has extensive experience in helping clients negotiate a mediated settlement and participate in a Collaborative Divorce.
