Sarah Schaffer Named One of SDBJ’s 50 Over 50 Women of Influence
Sarah T. Schaffer, CLS-F has been an advocate for families across San Diego for more than two decades. She is a family law specialist, certified by the State Bar of California, and represents clients in challenging high-conflict family matters. In addition, she has an LL.M. in taxation and prior to becoming an attorney, worked as a tax consultant. Her background allows her to not only understand and assist clients with their tax and financial planning needs, but also gives her the ability to ensure their assets are adequately protected. Earlier in her career, Sarah also served in the Marine Corps and continues to serve as Deputy Director, Reserve Legal Support, Headquarters Marine Corps, Judge Advocate Division, Washington DC. Even with her very full plate, Sarah supports organizations such as Casa Cornelia Law Center and Kids Turn San Diego. Also, she mentors young attorneys at her firm and encourages and supports professional and personal development of the firm’s staff.
